My name is Even Ruud and in this blog I will deal with literature from music therapy, music psychology and other topics from musicology. I am professor emeritus from the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Academy of Music and am trained as a piano teacher, music therapist, musicologist and psychologist. Music therapy is a complex subject and relies on research in a number of areas such as psychology, musicology, philosophy, medicine and more. With this blog, I want to deal with literature that is relevant to music therapy and convey this to anyone who might be interested. Book reviews and comments, reflection and ideas will be central to these pages. I will also illustrate the text with my own photos.
